Sales Representative – Machinery and Accessories

Looking for a horticultural sales professional, keen to be a key part of a revolution!

Established in 1999, when we thought the same and pioneered weed killing with saturated steam.

With patents for our industry-leading design, we manufacture commercial-grade equipment for all applications from gardens to councils and broadacre farming. We’re making big changes to the way people think about their weed problems – we need you, to turn our leads, into sales!

We are headquartered in Terrey Hills, Sydney and we are looking for a sales professional who can manage and convert leads generated by our marketing. This role is substantially office-based.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 1+ years experience in sales within a plant and equipment sales environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with Google suite and Microsoft office suite and CRM
  • Background in sales and horticulture

Objectives of this role:

  • Increase sales % of qualified leads generated by marketing
  • Shorten the sales cycle, by assisting our customers to start solving their weed management problem sooner
  • Increase average sale value by adding value options to the solutions offered
  • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets through the implementation of our sales processes
  • Manage the leads and opportunity pipeline in our CRM
  • Provide transparency of the work schedule
  • Contribute to the improvement of customer experience and automation of processes

Responsibilities:

  • Establish ongoing working relationships with new clients
  • Have a deep understanding of our product range
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Identify new sales opportunities
  • Set appointments, make effective discovery calls, and deliver closing roadmap sessions
  • Prepare reports and proposals required for executive-level presentations
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentation
  • Attend events, shows exhibitions

Remuneration

This role is highly incentivised with uncapped commissions and a retainer.
