This allows you to use the Weedtechnics in all weather conditions as the process is unaffected by rain and there is no danger of spray drift or harmful runoff associated with chemical use.
Proven Technology
The Weedtechnics is unique in its class of thermal weed control. It is ideally suited for use in organic horticulture, vineyards and orchards and can operate a range of attachments specific to those uses.
The Versitec heads fitted to a trigger operated, hand held gun suitable for urban and spot weeding. The Rowtech heads that can be vehicle mounted starting 1’3” (450mm) up to 2”(600mm) in diameter for vineyards & orchards, capable of treating weeds at 1-2km per hours. Finally the Agritech heads which are multiple heads for weed control in row crops such as carrots, garlic & broccoli.
The Weedtechnics is compact measuring 4’1” (1041mm) high x 2’1” (647mm) wide x 3’4 ( 1237mm) long and weights only 572lbs (270kgs).
Average water consumption is 5 -7 litres per minute (depending on applicator head) eliminating the need for enormous water tanks. Truly mobile and versatile the unit can be mounted on a pick up, small tractor or trailer to reach areas previously inaccessible to larger machinery.
